Membership Refund/Cancellation Policy
Gladstone Engineering Alliance reserves the right to refuse or cancel a membership with GEA.
If GEA refuses a new membership or renewal, registrants will be offered a refund.
Membership Cancellation by Member
Members will not be eligible to receive a refund on Membership applications.
GEA Event Refund/Cancellation Policy
Event Cancellation by GEA
GEA reserves the right to cancel an event due to low enrolment or other circumstances which would make the event non-viable.
If GEA cancels an event, registrants will be offered a full refund.
Should circumstances arise that result in the postponement of an event, GEA has the right to transfer registration to the same event at the new future date or offer registrants a refund less a 25% administration fee.
Registration Cancellation by Participant
Unless specifically stated on registration materials, the deadline to receive a refund for your registration is 10 business days before the event.
Registrations for events can be transferred to another delegate if you are unable to attend. If a cancellation is received prior to the deadline, you may be eligible to receive a refund less a 25% service fee.
Cancellations received after the stated deadline will not be eligible for a refund.
Refunds will not be available for registrants who choose not to attend an event.
Cancellations will be accepted in writing only and must be received by the stated cancellation deadline.
All refund requests must be made by the attendee or credit card holder; in circumstances where neither is available, cancellation must be made by current management.
Refund requests must include the name of the attendee and/or the transaction number.
Refunds will be credited back to the original credit card or bank details used for payment.
