APLNG is a coal seam gas (CSG) to liquefied natural gas (LNG) project delivering a cleaner, greener sustainable energy source.

Australia Pacific LNG extracts natural gas from the coal seams in the Bowen and Surat Basins for use in the domestic market, as well as transporting it via pipeline to an LNG facility on Curtis Island where it is compressed and liquified through a cooling process, and shipped to customers in Asia.

The export LNG Facility commenced operations in 2015 and has the capacity to process 9 million tonnes of LNG per annum.
