Business Continuity Training Workshop
GEA is pleased to announce the launch of a fully-funded Business Continuity Training Workshop for local businesses thanks to Gladstone Area Water Board and Gladstone Regional Council’s Rise Up Community Investment fund.
The in-person training, which will run over October 22 & 29, will show participants how to link risk management and business continuity management to produce a holistic approach to protecting the value creating activities of their businesses.
GEA GM Chantale Lane said development of a detailed business continuity plan was the best way to prepare and cope efficiently with unexpected high-impact events.
“A key element of developing such plans is being able to recognise the risks your organisation faces,” she said.
Ms Lane said she would like to thank GAWB and Council for supporting GEA in facilitating this business development opportunity for local businesses.

Gladstone Area Water Board CEO Darren Barlow said now, more than ever, it was important to support the local business community as it begins the process of economic recovery.

GEA secured support for its Business Continuity Training Workshop through Gladstone Regional Council’s Rise Up Fund. This initiative aims to support Gladstone Region’s not for profit sport, recreation, and community organisations who have experienced adverse impact during the Coronavirus COVID-19 health emergency.
Places in the Business Continuity Workshop are limited.
This professional development opportunity is open to all businesses based in the Gladstone Region.
