The 2018 Gladstone Resource Industry Supply Chain Expo will be held at the Gladstone Entertainment and Convention Centre (GECC) on Thursday, April 12.
The Expo is a one day, trade-show exhibition featuring stalls from GEA members and presentations from resource leaders and GEA members. The Expo is open to the public and GEA is working with our industry partners, the Queensland Resources Council, to attract representatives from major resource companies to attend.
Do not wait to book your exhibition stall as positions will go quickly. Format and design of expo will change in 2018 to allow companies like yours to have more opportunities to sell products and promote business capabilities.
The following is available to all exhibition stall holders:
2.2m exhibition stall: $350.00 (51 available);
3.3m exhibition stall: $450.00 (15 available);

The GEA is offering the chance for 10 to 12 businesses to do a 5-10min presentation during the Expo at their exhibition stall. The presentations will be supported by an emcee who will host the day including designated presentation banners highlighting business presentations and inclusion of business logo and presentation times in Expo Program – (all businesses that attend Expo will be listed in Expo Program).
Cost to secure your business presentation and presentation program listing: $100.00.
The GEA would like each company that attends to submit and/or create their business capability statement/case study for inclusion into the Expo Program (not compulsory). Click here to find an example capability/case study template and in February the GEA will also be conducting "Growing your Business" workshops (click here to register) to assist businesses with their marketing, branding, sales and creating their capabilties/case study statement. By mid-2018 all statements will be included in a comprehensive GEA capabilities booklet. All capability statements/case studies for Expo Program will need to be completet by early March 1, 2018. Cost is free to all GEA members.
The GEA also encourages members to create a 30sec-1min video about their business to be showcased at the Expo (not compulsory). There are a few options in the level of video production including television advertising quality (see below). This video will not only be featured at the Expo with other businesses but throughout other GEA events in 2018 and beyond and can be used across all of your multi-media platforms depending on level of production.
Video costs will range depending on quality and format. The following are approximate costs only:
30sec video production with still images, text, overlay, music and voice over: $300 - S450.
30sec video with full production, filming of talent, music and voice over: $600 - $800.
Television quality/CAD approved: $400 - $1250.
And finally, the GEA will also be creating Expo Show bags for visitors to take on the day to fill up on business freebees i.e. stubby holders, pens etc. With that in mind and if capable, please supply products at your exhibition stall for attendees to collect.
